You may ride your bicycle along the Arles route but you have to keep in mind that the trail in France is more hiking oriented than the trail in Spain that comprises lots of sections on roads. Some parts along mountain trails may prove difficult to achieve by bike (after St Guilhem, between Le Bousquet d'Orb and St Gervais sur Mare). Unless you are a mountain bike champion, you'll have to use maps in order to find alternate roads.
